MISSION 2008Our Mission Team has returned from Indianapolis following a week of work helping those in need. We welcome Manny, Josh and Peter back home and thank God for keeping them safe as they gave of their time and talents in this week of outreach and Christian love. Look for Josh & Peter's reflections on the mission trip in the July issue of Tidings and we look forward to the presentation the group will give on Kick Off Sunday in September! Welcome home & congratulations of a job well done!
SUMMER WORSHIP SCHEDULE...We have begun our summer worship schedule. Our Sunday morning service will be held at 9am with music on alternating Sundays. We welcome your friends and family members who may be visiting you over the summer to worhsip with us on Sunday mornings! We will continue to hold Wednesday evening worship services at 7pm and Saturday evening services at 5:30pm.
SUMMER OFFICE HOURS The church secretary will be in the office Mon-Tues-Wed-Thur mornings from 8am-12noon. The office will be closed on Fridays.SHEPHERD'S HEART DINNER OUTREACHSt. Thomas Church provided a warm nutricious meal to over 200 of Pittsburgh's homeless on Sunday, June 22nd. Volunteers left the church at 3:30pm to attend the worship service at Shepherd Heart and serve the meals. Small sized toiletry items (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc.) were collected to donate to their facility. Please continue to pray for Shepherd's Heart Fellowship and especially those in our our communities that are homeless and hungry.
